Metro Public Health to open flu shot clinics

Metro Health Department will offer one-day flu shot clinics at five community locations in addition to Lentz Health Center Monday, Oct. 20. The clinics will be located at area churches, a Metro Police precinct and community centers in East Nashville, Antioch, North Nashville, Madison and South Nashville. Each year about two of every 10 Americans get the flu and most of these cases could be prevented with the flu vaccine.Cost is $20, but the fee will be adjusted for those who cannot pay the full amount. Medicare Part B and TennCare insurance will be accepted.
