HANDS ON NASHVILLE COORDINATES THOUSANDS OF VOLUNTEERS Hands On Nashville, an organization which refers and places volunteers within the community, has been responsible for the coordination of more than 15,000 volunteers who registered through www.HON.org between May 2 and May 23. The registered volunteers donated approximately 63,285 hours of service among 830 project sites. The projected impact of theseflood volunteerism efforts totals over $1.3 million according to Independent Sector research.
