Man shot, killed at Antioch restaurant

Victim who went outside and was shot may have been targeted MONDAY • December 1, 2008 (Tennessean) A man was shot and killed after he exited a restaurant on Bell Road in Antioch Sunday night, in an attack that Metro police believe was not random. Police gave this account overnight of information gathered so far:The victim, a man in his mid-20s, was inside the Casa Fiesta Mexican Restaurant on 1111 Bell Road, eating with his girlfriend and baby around 7 p.m. The man went outside alone, and customers inside heard a shot.The victim was found shot outside. He was transported to Southern Hills Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Detectives conducted interviews but do not have a witness to the crime, police said.The Police Department is expected to release the victim's identity later today. — LEIGH RAY
