Red Cross aids Antioch family who lost home in fire

DAVIDSON COUNTY The Nashville Area Red Cross is providing assistance to a family of seven after a fire Wednesday destroyed their home at 14775 Old Hickory Blvd. in Antioch. Volunteers with the Red Cross responded to the fire at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday morning and provided the family with a hotel room for three nights and financial assistance for food and clothing, including coats and gloves. The family is asking for donations of clothing, furniture and household items to be dropped off at 1111 Battery Lane.
