Posted 5/5/2010 4:04 AM ET
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Tennessee court system has published a database of trial judge statistics on its website.
It's the first time the court system has published statistical information by individual judges. Previously, the courts have shared filing and disposition data by judicial district.
The database shows the number of cases disposed or appealed by individual judge or by Judicial District during the 2008-09 fiscal year.
Administrative Office of the Courts director Elizabeth Sykes said the information is designed to inform the public about the work done in the state judiciary.
The database is at www.tncourts.gov/JudgeStats.
