New Orleans considers Chief Serpas
DAVIDSON COUNTY
Metro Police Chief Ronal Serpas is one of six finalists being considered to take the top police job in his hometown of New Orleans.
The New Orleans Times-Picayune reported Tuesday that in addition to Serpas, five others are being considered for the position: former NOPD Capt. Louis Dabdoub; John M. Harrington, chief of police in St. Paul, Minn.; Bruce Preston Marquis, chief of police in Norfolk, Va.; John R. Batiste, chief of the Washington State Patrol; and Ronald Davis, police chief of East Palo Alto, Calif.
The field may be narrowed to three today.
