Nashville airport work may delay travelers

Twitter FarkIt Type Size A A A Work on a new rental car facility and renovations of the terminal at Nashville International Airport will affect some travelers beginning early Monday morning.
No flights will be delayed.
On Monday, the entrance to the short-term parking garage will be closed between 1:30 and 3 a.m.
Blasting of rock for utility trenches will begin Monday. Blasts are tentatively scheduled for 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
These blasts will not close any roads or pedestrian walkways.
On Tuesday, vehicles will be stopped for about 10 minutes at 9:25 a.m. on Terminal Drive for blasting.
Renovation work inside the terminal will close one of the two baggage-area restrooms for 14 weeks. And beginning next Sunday, the north entrance vestibule on the ticketing level and the north entrance vestibule on the baggage claim level will close for 10 days.
